In this lab, we conduct research on multidisciplinary fields like Computer Science and Engineering, Biology, and Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).
The primary research interest of this lab is to use Machine Learning, digital image processing, and systems biology to address different problems in the domain
of Medical Image Analysis & health care, Computational Biology, Document image processing, and IKS. We conduct research on different Machine learning and
digital image processing-based methods for the detection of different cancers. In our lab, using a computational biological approach (systems biology and
bioinformatics), we study the mechanism of development of different disease conditions and identify the important factors for that. We also conduct research in
the domain of document image processing; analysis of old Indian document images is one of its major objectives to address various aspects to enrich Indian
knowledge systems.
